Old Town District

The Old Town District contains many unique offerings owned and operated by local merchants. This district is to remain an integral part of our business district. We envision the Old Town District and the Calhoun Street Marketplace working together to create a single walkable district with a diversity of offerings.

CHCURC is working with the City of Cincinnati and the Clifton Heights Business Association to provide matching funds for the rehabilitation of store-front facades. This grant provides property and business owners the opportunity rejuvenate their exterior presentation to street traffic.

Future improvements to the Old Town includes a comprehensive streetscape that serves to integrate the Calhoun Street Marketplace with the existing business district. Improvements will include new sidewalks, lights and street furniture.
